Volunteering generally consists of:
Making Compassion Kits & Lunches:
Our volunteers will meet at a home or office space, where we assemble Compassion Kits and/or sack lunches from the donations we've collected. Once assembly is completed, lunches and kits are loaded into vehicles, so they can be distributed to the community on the following day. Our kits are made up of supplies that aim to help meet the basic needs of those currently experiencing homelessness. Compassion Kits generally include basic hygiene and grooming products along with snacks and clothing. Distribution:
You can also volunteer to help distribute the kits and lunches in our communities. Usually we meet in an area that has a significant homeless population and hand out the kits that we've made a day or two before.
However you can help is greatly appreciated and providing relief to those in need is rewarding activity, we hope to see you at a future meetup.
